Terms of Service - NoPhones

1. End User License Agreement (EULA) – Acceptance of Terms

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") governs your use of the NoPhones mobile application and related services (the "Services"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by this EULA.

By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this EULA.

If you do not agree to this EULA, do not download, install, access, or use the Services.

This EULA incorporates by reference our Privacy Policy and all other policies referenced herein. By accepting this EULA, you also agree to be bound by those documents.

2. Description of Service

NoPhones is a screen time management app that helps you create intentional friction around distracting applications. The App uses Apple's Screen Time APIs to block apps you select and create barriers that encourage mindful app usage.

3. No Account Required

NoPhones does not require you to create an account. The App works entirely on your device without any server-side authentication or user identification.

4. In-App Purchases

Any in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Apple's terms and conditions apply to all purchases. Refunds are handled through Apple's standard refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Hard Mode

NoPhones offers a "Hard Mode" feature that blocks apps without any unlock option. This feature is free. Once enabled, you cannot unlock blocked apps until you disable Hard Mode. Use this feature responsibly.

6. Local Data Storage

All App data is stored locally on your device. If you delete the App, all data, including your streak history and settings, will be permanently lost. We cannot recover this data because we do not have access to it.

7. Apple Screen Time Permissions

NoPhones requires Screen Time permissions to function. By granting these permissions, you authorize the App to:

Display a list of your installed apps and categories
Block access to apps you select
Monitor when blocked apps are accessed (locally only)

These permissions can be revoked at any time through your iPhone's Settings.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of noplans labs inc. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

The App will meet your specific requirements
The App will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free
The results from using the App will be accurate or reliable

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall noplans labs inc., its directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
